Recent Management "Run-in"1

In the past couple months I have felt very alone and like I was fighting a losing battle, even though I knew I was in the right. There were several things that I knew were happening and that they were wrong. However I never brought them to anyone's attention because I have seen how the Management Machine can roll over people and stomp on their rights. In today's world you don't even have to do anything wrong to be persecuted.

And once I decided that it could go on no longer and finally did come forward, I still felt so alone and couldn't see the point in fighting. When I first met with Jon and Allen about getting union representation and joining the union, they made me feel that I do have a support group, and I am not alone. Although I had made some mistakes along the way, They helped me see that being honest and bringing certain things out was the best decision I had made.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you are out there and feel that you are alone...remember that you don't have to be. There is a support group right here waiting to help you. Not only will they give you support and guidance for your "management run-in's", they will give you the strength you need to finally do the right thing! I have made many mistakes this year, but joining Jon, Allen and NAGE R14-9 was definately not one of them.
